Balancing
Dampers
BD-1300
-
Dampers balance air flow in commercial
or light industrial applications. Balancing dampers have no seals so they
are not rated for tight shut-off. Johnson Controls offers a 3-year warranty
on materials and workmanship.

Zone Dampers
ZD-1800
-
Zone dampers for
residential, light industrial, commercial applications. Our zone
dampers are gear driven, providing less friction and low torque. Factory
assembled and tested.
-
All zone dampers come with 18-gauge Triple
V opposed blades with no bearing and no seals. Your choice of actuator
or no actuator.

Fire Dampers
FD-1300 (Airfoil)
FD-1600 (Triple V)
-
The fire damper is a two-position device intended to restrict
the spread of fire in HVAC systems — in the event of a fire, the fire damper
automatically closes tight and stays closed, even when the fan is still
running.
-
When the FUSIBLE LINK temperature reaches 165°F,
212°F or 285°F (depending on model selected), the link releases
a high-torque spring and BLADES SLAM SHUT.

-
Two-Position or Modulating Dampers
-
Restricts the spread of smoke in HVAC systems that are designed
to be automatically shut down in the event of a fire. Or controls the movement
of smoke within a building when the HVAC system is operational in engineered
smoke control systems.
-
Class I Airfoil or Class II Triple V blades available, along
with your choice of an electric or pneumatic actuator.
